David Armfield

David Armfield is a founding Partner of Kinetix Critchleys Corporate Finance.

David has worked in the Investment Banking Industry since 1987, including ten years as a Corporate Finance Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and the prior 13 years as an M&A banker with Lehman Brothers based in London and New York.

 

He has worked with a wide variety of public and private companies and with the institutional and private equity investor community. Having headed Lehman's European Industrial Group and then PwC's Industrials team, he has an extensive network of board-level relationships amongst many of the world's largest engineering conglomerates. He also has an extensive network of relationships in the mid and small cap market and within private equity.

In 2008 David began building PwC's Corporate Finance presence in the Renewable Energy and Cleantech sectors which led to the founding in 2010 of Kinetix and its focus on emerging technologies, resource efficiency and sustainability throughout the industrial spectrum. He has led numerous transactions including corporate disposals, strategic partnerships and fund-raisings working for both established businesses and pre-revenue entities. He also has considerable experience in transacting for both public and private companies.

 

David qualified as a solicitor in 1986 with Wilde Sapte in London transferring to its New York office before joining Lehman Brothers.

David is also the Senior Independent Director of Xeros Technology Group PLC and a Non-Executive Director of Myonlineschool Limited.
