Ray Barrett

Ray joined Kinetix in 2019 after a 17-year Corporate Finance career at the London-based Investment Banking arm of BNP Paribas, where he was a Managing Director and Head of UK Financial Institutions Corporate Finance, as well as being responsible globally for Corporate Finance for Asset Management clients. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Ray trained and practiced as a Chartered Accountant at PwC between 1989 and 2001, working in both the Transaction Services Practice and ultimately PwC’s Corporate Finance Practice.​

Ray brings considerable Investment Banking experience to the Kinetix team having worked on and led the full range of Corporate Finance transactions including Corporate Disposals, Acquisitions, IPOs, Leveraged Buyouts and both public and private market Equity and Debt Capital Raises. He has also led Due Diligence, Valuation and Strategic Analysis engagements for both Private Equity and Corporate Clients.​

While a key focus of Ray's client base is within the Financial Services and Fintech sector, he also works across other industries bringing to bear his extensive Corporate Finance experience; in

particular Healthcare/Tech and Life Sciences.
